Audrey Jeanne spent much of her youth exploring every nook and cranny of the world famous San Diego Zoo. She lost her heart to the amazing elephants that lived both in the zoo and roamed wild in the sister park "The Wild Animal Park," since renamed. These animals are both incredibly tender and gentle with their young and fierce toward any who would do them harm. Audrey Jeanne tried to capture the light of their gaze in this image that is both realistic and imaginative with the elephant "King" looking regal with elegant, vintage Kashmir Kani Shawl patterns.
